第一个提出量子力学概念的Max Planck(马克斯·普朗克)有这样一段名言:
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it."
一个新的科学真理得到认同，并不是靠使它的反对者信服和领悟，而是由于反对者逐渐都死了，而从一开始就熟悉着这个真理长大的新一代终于长成了。
比如电力系统解析理论,让已接受了Park模型观念的专家领悟和信服螺旋矢量理论(spiral vector theory)的可能性很小,只有寄希望于新一代年轻人,一开始就接受新理论的教育或实践。
当然要注意的是"反对者逐渐都死了"并不是指这些人生命的终结,而是指他们学术生涯的活跃期的终结。
